About Lawyer

Sirus Biniaz is a Litigation Counsel at the Oakville office, having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2023.  His area of practice is insurance defence with a focus in claims involving motor vehicle accidents, fire losses, slips-and-falls, professional negligence, and occupiers’ and tavern liability.  Sirus received his undergraduate degree from York University in 2009.  He went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2012 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013.  Sirus has since successfully represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.  

Personal Interests

Sirus enjoys travelling, fine dining, exploring the city with his pup Hemingway, and cheering on Liverpool FC.
