About Lawyer

Sharon Tathgur is Counsel at the Toronto office, having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2023. Prior to this, Sharon articled at a boutique law firm where she was exposed to the inner mechanics and dualities of insurance disputes. Sharon received her undergraduate degree from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2018. She went on to obtain a J.D. from Lakehead University in 2022 and was called to the bar in 2023.

During law school, Sharon was affiliated with numerous student associations and initiatives, most notably Sharon took part in Probono Students Canada,  Law Students’ Society, Black Law Students Association, and the Newcomer Legal Clinic.

Sharon has appeared at various levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court. She has also appeared before the License Appeal Tribunal by way of written hearings.

Personal Interests

Sharon’s talents lie in being a devoted sports enthusiast. She is equally recognized for her passion for film and literature, immersing herself in the captivating universes created by writers.
