About Lawyer
Michael is Litigation Counsel at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers as an articling student in 2021. His area of practice is insurance defence litigation. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Queen’s University, on the Dean’s Honour List. He also studied international foreign policy at the University of Havana in Cuba. Michael went on to obtain a JD from Western Law. While in law school, he assisted with providing pro bono legal services for healthcare workers throughout the pandemic. Prior to Aviva Trial Lawyers, he also gained experience as a Summer Associate at a province-wide litigation firm.
Personal Interests
Michael’s personal interests include tennis, golf, running, portaging, travel, and skiing.
