About Lawyer

Kathy Polczer is a senior lawyer at the GTA West office. She joined Aviva Trial Lawyers (then known as CGU Legal Services), in 2001. Prior to this she worked at an insurance defence firm in Hamilton. Kathy was Managing Counsel with Aviva Legal Services from 2012 to 2014, and Regional Managing Counsel of the Hamilton legal office from 2014 to 2016. In 2014, she graduated from the Aviva Front Line Manager Program. Her legal experience has been gained exclusively in civil litigation with a particular focus on personal injury auto tort claims, and personal injury occupiers liability claims. She also has experience with commercial host liability claims, commercial liability matters, property damage matters, subrogation claims, products liability and coverage issues.

Personal Interests

Kathy is an avid ailurophile and has had the privilege of living with numerous cats over her lifetime. She and her husband are rabid fans of the rock band Queen.
