About Lawyer

Julia Raposo is a litigation lawyer at the Oakville office. Julia joined Aviva Trial Lawyers as a summer student in 2024, and she returned for her articles. Julia was called to the bar in 2026, and her area of practice is insurance defence litigation.

Julia received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from University of New Brunswick in 2025. During law school, Julia participated in national mooting competitions, volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and received recognition for her academic achievement and leadership. Prior to Aviva Trial Lawyers, Julia gained experience as a Court Clerk at the Hamilton Ontario Court of Justice. 

Personal Interests

Outside of the law, Julia enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family.
