About Lawyer

Jennifer joined Aviva Trial Lawyers’ Ottawa office in 2024 after having practiced civil litigation for over 22 years at several of Ottawa’s esteemed law firms.

Her legal expertise includes: motor vehicle accident law, personal injury law, insurance defence, insurance coverage issues, property loss, subrogation, title insurance, and real estate litigation.

Jennifer enjoyed acting as a mediator for several years after having obtained her accreditation in 2010, and she continually strives to resolve her cases amicably, fairly, and efficiently. 

A highlight of Jennifer’s year is acting as a Coach to high school teams participating in the annual OJEN Mock Trial Competition, and sharing her advocacy tips and strategies with the students.

She has appeared on motions, trials, and appeals before the Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Personal Interests

Jennifer’s interests include motorcycling, travelling, and enjoying live music and PWHL/OHL hockey with her husband, as well as being her teen son’s biggest and proudest hockey and football fan.
