About Lawyer

Deborah joined Aviva trial lawyers in August of 2026.  She brings a varied background, beginning with her early work for a quasi-governmental organization, wherein she provided legal representation to low-income Ontarians; her work in the private sector at a boutique personal injury law firm; and her recent position at a boutique insurance defence firm.

Throughout her career, she has appeared before various administrative tribunals, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She has been involved in hearings, motions, and trials.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Deborah has a strong dedication to her family and friends.  She also has a growing interest in gardening and is civic-minded.   She is actively involved with two charities that support the elderly, those facing food insecurity and children in care.
