About Lawyer
Catherine Koch is the Senior National Managing Counsel and Quality Counsel at Aviva Trial Lawyers, where she leads the firm's junior leadership team, oversees select teams of litigation counsel, and directs legal recruitment initiatives. She also leads the Quality team, providing a national perspective on the quality of legal services, driving continuous growth across the practice.
Catherine joined Aviva in 2014 as Litigation Counsel after seven and a half years in private practice. As National Quality Counsel in 2016, she developed and led the firm's Quality Program, conducting file reviews with counsel and delivering performance -focused insights and recommendations to leadership.
In 2023, she assumed additional responsibilities as Managing Counsel, leading teams of intermediate and senior lawyers. She became Senior National Managing Counsel and Quality Counsel in 2025.
