About Lawyer

Beryl Meng is Counsel at the Toronto office, having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2022. Prior to this, she articled at a Toronto litigation boutique. Her area of practice is insurance litigation. Beryl received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from McGill University in 2018, majoring in Chemistry. She went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2021 and was called to the Bar in 2022. While at law school, she received a certificate in International Business Law at the Bader International Study Centre in East Sussex, UK.

Beryl has appeared at various levels of court including the Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court. She has written for the OBA Insurance Law Section and Kluwer Arbitration Blog. 

Personal Interests

Beryl’s personal interests include cycling, hiking with her dog, and board games.
