About Lawyer

Alisha Burby is a litigation counsel at the Oakville, Ontario office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2022. Prior to this she worked at a Toronto litigation boutique specializing in construction and real estate disputes, construction liens, breach of contract and franchise disputes. She has appeared at various levels of court including the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Alisha had a career as a professional track and field athlete specializing in the Heptathlon event and has participated at state and national level championships.

Personal Interests

When she’s not lawyering, Alisha enjoys spending time with her dog Dex, going hiking, travelling and brunching.
