About Lawyer

Alana M. Daley is a lawyer at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in April 2019. Prior to this, she worked as an associate at Matthews Abogado LLP. Her area of practice is Tort Law. Alana received an undergraduate degree from Western University in 2007. She went on to obtain her JD from Queen’s University and was called to the bar in 2011 after completing her articles of clerkship as a judicial law clerk for the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the License Appeal Tribunal. She is a member of Ontario and New York State bar. She is a board member for the Advocates for the Rule of Law, an organization dedicated to furthering legal literacy and the rule of law in Canada.

Personal Interests

Alana’s personal interests include spending time with her family (including two small children), reading, and occasionally running.
