About Lawyer

A.J. is a senior counsel at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in July 2019. Prior to this he worked as a lawyer at a boutique litigation firm in downtown Toronto. His area of practice is insurance defence litigation, with a focus on multi-party construction litigation as well as medical malpractice. A.J. received his undergraduate degree from Dalhousie University in 2008 where he was on the Dean’s list for academic excellence. He went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2013, and he was called to the bar in 2014. A.J. has trial experience and has appeared as counsel in the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Small Claims Court.
