Teresa-Anne Martin is Counsel in the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in 2017. Prior to this, she worked at Matthews Abogado LLP and Reisler Franklin LLP. Her area of practice is insurance defence litigation with a focus on motor vehicle accident tort claims and occupiers’ liability. Teresa-Anne received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in 2005. She went on to obtain her J.D. from Dalhousie in 2011 and was called to the bar in 2012. Teresa-Anne’s experience includes defending contested matters in the Superior Court of Justice and Financial Services Commission of Ontario. She has also acted as second chair at three trials in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She is also an active member of the Young Alumni Committee at St. Michael’s College (University of Toronto).
