About Lawyer

Adina Strom is a lawyer at the Toronto office having joined Aviva Trial Lawyers in July, 2018. Prior to this, she worked at a boutique insurance defence firm in Toronto. Her area of practice is insurance defence litigation.  Adina received her undergraduate degree from McMaster University in 2011. She went on to obtain JD from the University of Windsor in 2015 and was called to the bar in 2016. Adina has worked on materials for, and has appeared at, motions at the Small Claims Court and the Superior Court of Justice. Some notable cases include Travelers v CAA Insurance Company. Adina is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Advocates Society. She has written papers on the topics of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal and summary judgment motions. She also prepared a paper on the topic of priority and loss transfer disputes presented at a Canadian Defence Lawyers seminar.
